The Good
Ticked all the boxes, is stable and works well once setup. It is a one-off price, not a yearly fee.
The Bad
Not too much really. Could possibly improve the manual with images to illustrate operation, explain the pros and cons of encryption and add key based encryption (e.g. OpenPGP).
Conclusion
I came across CloudBerry Lab about three years ago and revisit it in October this year after having problems with Duplicati. It is tough to find a reasonably priced product that includes: various storage, compression, encryption (inc ssl), versioning (auto deletion), FTP and full scheduling email notification. CloudBerry offers massive potential, covers all the above points and more. Most importantly it offers true privacy due to SSL transfer protection and client side encryption rather than server side, which a lot of cheap backup services do. Perfect for basic to advanced backup with other products covering Exchange, SQL and more.
What actually happens when you click on a link within a “PayPal” email? Here is one example.
Spoofed eBay or PayPal emails have been around for at least ten years and are one of the most common. Most people have caught up to the fact they are phoney but over the years the temptation is getting greater to open the email. All because the writers are getting into people’s heads.
Anatomy of a DOCM (Microsoft Word macro document) email based virus
DOCM files are Microsoft Word files, with the “M” standing for Macro. Macro files or codes should always been viewed with caution. This email came from a semi-advanced and semi-targeted email campaign directed at ICAS (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland) members in the second quarter of 2014.
