Let’s use an analogy: A home has multiple points of entry, including the front door, back door, windows and garage. All these must be secured, perhaps with thick glass, shatter film or metal bars, together with alarms, sensors, CCTV and possibly a safe for valuables. If a burglar manages to break into the house, what is stopping him or her stealing desktop computers, smartphones, laptops, CDs/DVDs, tablets or USB drives? Probably very little.

My question: Symantec said antivirus (signatures) are dead, what is the solution?
Remember everyone was trying to talk to him and get a photo so the reply was short and interrupted. Reply below:
- training of users because malware needs a click to activate
- mobiles phone since they can get malware and even if screen is off it is still listening to you or working - referring to government monitoring schemes I assume
- not a real answer. Anyone can now code, a guy in Thailand can release a app to 100s of millions of users - probably saying don't trust what you download or install
